Consistency from one to the next. Efficient system although the two guys seemed a little slow for lunch time. But very friendly and we’re working hard. The stuffed potato with brisket and then dressed with all the fixins. Really good needed a nap but had to get back to work.

Stopped in for a late lunch today and absolutely loved it! This was the first time we have been here and we will be back. Great atmosphere from the jump when you walk in under the "enter here" sign. You walk under covered pits rolling smoking goodness that will make your taste buds come alive before the food hits your mouth. You stand pitside and pick out your favs. They weigh, scan, and slide you a tray, you then walk inside to more friendly faces and select your vegetables, condiments, and desserts. The wildlife mounted decor accentuated the rustic lighting fixtures. Lots of large screen TV's gave you a view of all available sporting events airing during your visits time frame. and . This is a must visit eating adventure for everyone.

We stopped in here on our way out of town from visiting Granbury. We kept hearing about this place and how great the food was so we went out of our way to try it out. We got some pork ribs, brisket, bacon wrapped shrimp and bacon wrapped chicken (small pieces). My favorite was the bacon wrapped shrimp. Wasn’t a fan of the bacon wrapped chicken-thought it was a little dry. The brisket had great flavor and so did the ribs. I was most impressed with the price we paid for what all we got! We eat BBQ a lot in our city and at HARD 8 we definitely got more food. Next time we’re up in Granbury, we’ll take the out of way drive to stop by again!

Whenever I do a cross country trip (which is about twice a year), I always try to stop and get BBQ in each state I stop in. So far this has been one of the best places I have been too. The food was delicious (though the pulled pork tasted strongly of alcohol or maybe vinegar and half my group did not like it). Other than that everything was fantastic! Pretty darn cheap too. Incredibly loud inside and shared tables.

We're from the west coast and this was our first experience with true Texas BBQ... it did NOT disappoint. Melt-in-your-mouth steak, amazing, fall apart brisket the BBQ sauce was fantastic and the spicy BBQ sauce was delicious! We tried the 16oz steak, the brisket, sweet potato fries, regular fries, onion rings, beans, and prickly pear margaritas. Everything was to die for. We even took our leftovers and ate them cold later and they were still amazing.

I'm an Oregonian, and I was there visiting family and just happened to be hungry while in passing. I'm so glad I was. THIS is bbq. It was unbelievable and I've never had anything like it. Ever. If you are in the area, run don't walk, and get you some AMAZING food. The love that goes into it is evident with every single bite. If you like bbq, this is a religious experience.

We came to Stephenville to drop off some items at Mike's Westside Rental. We're in the transition to move here to Weatherford, Texas from Denver, Colorado. They told my husband about this place and we can tell you, it was delicious! The atmosphere, the employees and even the people around here are very nice! We really liked it and we are definitely coming back.

The only thing to complain about was the terrible beans. That whole recipe can go bye bye. Get some pork n beans and replace the other ones. The chicken was phenomenal, the brisket was amazing. Service was fantastic and the people were friendly. Love me some Hard Eight BBQ!!
